HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY AMANDA!

Kevin and Amanda with Trexton.

Today is Amanda's 21st birthday! Whoopie Amanda! I just wanted to wish you the happiest of days and let you know that we all love you! I found a few pictures that I wanted to share of you and hope you will know how loved you are as you look at them. We are so glad that, even though you were almost five years after Timmy, you decided to join our family! Kinda funny how Linde prayed you here and now years later Linde is the recipricant of Kenzi's prayers for her new baby. :) Have a wonderful day!

DAD'S OVER THE HILL???

Boys will be boys, what else can I say? Steve is always looking for the prime opportunity to "pin" one of his boys. I'm supposed to note on here( for Steve) that Daniel thinks he's pretty tuff! But Dad had to show him how it's done, STILL! We had so much fun visiting the kids and grandkids in Las Vegas over the weekend. On Sunday night we had dinner and family night at Dan and Chelsee's and somewhere in the process Steve started to feel the need to humble Daniel. Poor Dan, as he ran for the kitchen sink to throw up he was yelling, "Dad, you cheap shotted me!" Steve, of course, denies any foul play! Poor Camdyn didn't know what was going on! So, Steve has proven once again, that he's NOT OVER THE HILL!

THE THING DOWN THE STREET

I promised Tim that I'd blog this snowman. for him. He said he took this picture just down the street from where he lives in Orem, Utah. Looks like someone has some artistic ability. I sure never did see anything like this around my yard when the kids were growing up. Think they were too busy throwing snowballs instead of making snowmen. Thanks, Tim.

CHASIN' ELK AGAIN

Steve and David took a little ride yesterday and look what they discovered. Hundreds of them, honestly! Steve said probably around 700??? Who knows? What a sight! David, of course, had his trusty camera with him and what a Kodak moment this was. I promised him full credit for these shots, well deserved! About 2 hours later, Steve took me to this same spot and you guessed it, NO ELK! We did have the opportunity to wave at the Game and Fish employee who was out doing his job, protecting these creatures from overly zealous observers. Guess by the time Steve and I arrived they had moved further on up the mountain. I was disappointed but Steve and David sure hit the jackpot!

ELK, ELK and MORE ELK!

SUDDENLY SENIOR CULPRIT

So, a little while back I yacked about an email I'd received about being "Suddenly Senior", one that I wasn't overly happy about. I really couldn't figure out where it came from, that's what bothered me the most I guess. Last Saturday I went out to clean Steve's office. I turned on his Pandora music so I'd have something to listen to. His email was on his screen and out jumped SUDDENLY SENIOR at me. AHHH HA! The culprit. He was over working at the Red Barn but stopped by for a few minutes to see if I was making progress, when I confronted him! He couldn't stop laughing. It was junk mail that he'd received and he thought he'd get me riled by sending it to me. He was pretty sneaky about it because I wasn't able to find the sender. (I know, I'm not tooo computer literate) So, he claims full responsibility and all the rest of you are off the hook. He would walk around the house following me, saying.... suddenly senior huh? constantly! He'd limp around, pick on me about my aches and pains and numerous other antics that go along with "Suddenly Senior". He's still laughing his head off and thinks he got one over on me...... we'll just let him think that for the time being.......

NATIONAL WEATHER BUREAU SAYS....

Snow, snow and more snow! It's been coming down all day and hasn't stopped yet. Three feet is what we are forcasted to get, sure hope so! The roads are pretty bad, finally the plow came by about an hour ago. I've had a blast out shoveling walks for some of our friends. Nash thinks he needs to be right by my side. He's more of a hinderance than help but he tags along anyway. Hopefully this will help so we'll have plenty of irrigation next summer and NO FIRES! When you're listening to the weather report and you hear NORTHEASTERN ARIZONA, that's us!
