THE BARNYARD

On Saturday morning Nate, Jen, Shelbi, Harlee, Dax, Trex, Grampa and Grammie spent a little time in the barnyard. The kids had a great time in the chicken pen, with Jen keeping a close eye on the rooster! Steve was not the least bit concerned. Nate informed his Dad that the only reason he and his siblings had grown to adulthood was because MOM had always kept an eye on the "rooster". That made me laugh. The kids all sat and rode on Valentine and Shelbi even hit the ground a little hard. What a tuff girl! Just a few pictures to further prove it doesn't take much but a little horse manure and chicken poop to make a kid happy! (And their grandparents too) So glad they all came and spread the happiness around!Trexton and Dax on Valentine

You all look like you had so much fun! I am so sorry I haven't called lately. Just seems like the days get away from me! Dad said he talked to you this morning and that you were doing better. So glad to hear that!! I sure wish we were making plans to come out there this year! Guess Amanda will have to make the pies this year! We did have a wonderful time with your family last Thanksgiving. I can hardly believe that it was almost a year ago that we were there! Love you so much!!
