Last week we found a snake, played with puppy dogs and here we are this week into snail hunting. Yesterday we had a day that was made just for kids! (and Grammie) First we started with fishing at Nelson Reservoir. For the first time in quite a few years, I now am the proud owner of a $40 fishing license! We didn't have much luck fishing ( I'm not as good at worms and power bait as Uncle Tim but I gave it a valiant effort)After fishing we moved on to "Snail hunting" at Hulsey Lake. Kyron, Kason and Kenzi each found their quota of "pet" snails. We went on a little hike where the boys discovered some rocks to climb so they had a blast doing that. We fished, hiked, laughed, squealed, giggled and finished the excursion with ICE CREAM and PIE at Bear Wallow. What a terrific day! (needless to say, we ALL slept through the entire night! and that includes Grammie!)
